Who you are

You have experience in sales, ideally with a focus on technology or AI solutions — you understand the nuances of enterprise sales and can navigate complex client needs effectively. You are an approachable and compelling communicator who enjoys working with prospects to uncover their needs and develop tailored value propositions that align with their business goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams across Customer Success, Sales Development, Marketing, and Sales Engineering to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You are driven by results and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets — you take ownership of your territory and are proactive in identifying leads and closing deals. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients is paramount, as you aim to lay the foundation for Cohere's growth in diverse industries such as financial services, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, and the public sector.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle from identifying leads to closing deals, ensuring that you understand the unique needs of each enterprise client. You will collaborate with various teams to create compelling presentations and proposals that showcase how Cohere's platform can help clients achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for managing your territory effectively, identifying new opportunities, and nurturing existing relationships to drive revenue growth.

You will also gather feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies, acting as the voice of the field within the organization. Your insights will help shape the future direction of Cohere's offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the market. You will participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
