Who you are

You have a strong background in account management, ideally with experience in the tech or financial sectors β€” you understand the nuances of managing client relationships and are adept at navigating complex technical discussions. You are passionate about the mission of increasing economic freedom through cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, and you believe in the transformative power of these technologies in the financial system.

You thrive in high-pressure environments and are eager to tackle challenging problems β€” you actively seek feedback and are committed to continuous improvement in your professional journey. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, Support, and Engineering.

You are comfortable working in a remote-first culture but understand the importance of in-person collaboration β€” you are willing to participate in team and company-wide offsites to foster connection and alignment with your colleagues. You are proactive in building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Desirable

Experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry is a plus, as is familiarity with technical integrations and implementations. A background in customer success or technical support can also be beneficial, as it equips you with the skills needed to address client inquiries and challenges effectively.

What you'll do

As a Technical Account Manager at Coinbase, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding technical relationships with our institutional clients β€” you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure successful implementations of our products and services. You will collaborate with various internal teams to facilitate seamless integrations and provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring they derive maximum value from our offerings.

You will act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, translating technical requirements into actionable tasks for our engineering and product teams β€” your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in ensuring that client feedback is incorporated into our product development process. You will also be responsible for monitoring client satisfaction and proactively addressing any issues that arise, ensuring a high level of service and support.

In addition to managing client relationships, you will contribute to the development of best practices and processes for technical account management β€” your insights will help shape how we engage with clients and improve our service delivery. You will participate in regular meetings with clients to review their progress, discuss upcoming needs, and identify opportunities for further collaboration.
