Who you are
You are a seasoned procurement expert with extensive experience in technology procurement, ideally with over 5 years in a similar role. You thrive on taking strategic ownership of technology spend and have a proven track record of leading high-stakes negotiations. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Infosec, sets you apart as a leader in your field.
You possess a deep understanding of the technology procurement lifecycle, from vendor evaluation to contract negotiation and offboarding. You are skilled at designing and implementing procurement frameworks that ensure compliance while maintaining business agility. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you enjoy mentoring team members to enhance their negotiation and vendor management skills.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the full technology procurement lifecycle, ensuring that all technology is vetted and approved according to the highest standards. You will act as the primary architect of the vendor ecosystem, managing relationships and negotiations for SaaS, Infrastructure, and Service agreements. Your strategic oversight will include maintaining a centralized repository of supplier obligations and costs, ensuring transparency across the organization.
You will proactively manage the global renewal calendar, ensuring that all contract extensions are strategic and commercially sound. Your role will also involve setting the standards for how technology is evaluated and approved, balancing compliance with the need for business agility. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Technology Operations to drive the procurement function from strategy through to execution.
