You are a seasoned procurement expert with a strong background in technology procurement, ideally with over 5 years of experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. You thrive in high-stakes environments and have a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives from conception through execution. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Infosec, sets you apart as a leader in your field.

You possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including SaaS, Infrastructure, and Service agreements. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to secure the best terms for your organization while maintaining strong relationships with vendors. You are also adept at mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence in negotiation and vendor management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the full technology procurement lifecycle, from intake and evaluation to negotiation and offboarding. You will set the standards for how technology is vetted and approved across the organization, ensuring compliance while promoting business agility. Your strategic vision will guide the design and implementation of robust procurement frameworks that align with the company's goals.

You will act as the lead voice in commercial discussions, ensuring that all contract extensions are strategic and commercially sound. Your proactive management of the global renewal calendar will be crucial in maintaining a centralized repository of all supplier obligations, costs, and terms, ensuring total transparency across the organization.

Additionally, you will manage and mentor two team members, supporting their development in negotiation and vendor management skills. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the procurement function forward, making a significant impact on the company's technology spend and overall operational efficiency.
