Who you are
You are a seasoned procurement expert with a strong background in technology procurement, ideally with 5+ years of experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts. You thrive in high-stakes negotiations and have a proven track record of driving strategic procurement initiatives that align with business goals. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Infosec, sets you apart as a leader in your field.
You possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including SaaS, Infrastructure, and Service agreements. Your analytical skills enable you to evaluate vendor proposals critically, ensuring that the company secures the best possible terms. You are also adept at mentoring team members, helping them develop their negotiation and vendor management skills.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the full technology procurement lifecycle, from intake and evaluation to negotiation and offboarding. You will set the standards for how technology is vetted and approved across the organization, ensuring compliance while maintaining business agility. Your strategic oversight will involve designing and implementing robust procurement frameworks that balance these needs effectively.
You will act as the lead voice in commercial discussions, ensuring that all contract extensions are strategic and commercially sound. Your proactive management of the global renewal calendar will be crucial in maintaining a centralized repository of all supplier obligations, costs, and terms, ensuring total transparency across the organization.
