Site Reliability Engineer • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are a recent graduate or have some experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong foundation in cloud technologies and a passion for ensuring system reliability and performance. You have a basic understanding of AWS and are eager to learn more about cloud infrastructure and services. Your familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes will help you contribute to containerized applications and orchestration. You are comfortable working in a Linux environment and have some experience with scripting in Python or similar languages. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about the opportunity to work with key public sector agencies to solve real-time problems with data.

What you'll do

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Confluent, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our systems that support public sector agencies. You will work closely with engineering teams to design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance system reliability. You will also participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to continuously improve our processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of our data streaming platform.
