What you'll do
As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. Your primary focus will be on developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts within the Australia/New Zealand territory. You will create and execute account strategies to meet quarterly and annual sales goals, ensuring that you maintain a robust sales pipeline. Collaborating closely with the Customer Success team, you will nurture relationships with your defined customer base, helping them achieve their business objectives with Contentful's solutions.
You will be responsible for positioning, negotiating, and closing new logo and expansion business, with annual contract values ranging from $50,000 to $500,000. Your role will involve delivering presentations, creating sales proposals, and maintaining sales reports to track your progress. You will also develop a deep understanding of the market and competitors to inform your sales strategies and enhance your effectiveness.
