Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a strong background in finance. You are comfortable working with large datasets and have a knack for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your expertise in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI allows you to create impactful dashboards that communicate key performance metrics effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Sales, Marketing, and Product. You understand the importance of aligning financial insights with operational goals and are motivated by helping leaders make data-driven decisions. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify trends and opportunities for optimization, making you a valuable strategic partner.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to business and finance leadership, connecting business performance with financial outcomes. You will analyze topline performance, revenue, spend, and profitability trends, providing insights that help optimize investments and accelerate growth. You will collaborate with the central Data team to ensure high data quality and define financial data requirements.

You will act as a Data Steward for the Finance organization, driving improvements in data capture and ensuring strong data hygiene for finance-owned data. Your responsibilities will include building financial models, designing dashboards, and delivering analytical insights that power decision-making across the company. You will also play a critical role in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and drive long-term success for Contentful.
