Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, with experience leading teams across multiple regions, particularly in EMEA and APAC. Your leadership style emphasizes performance management and execution excellence, ensuring that your team operates with consistency and effectiveness. You possess a solid technical foundation that allows you to confidently deliver high-level product demonstrations and articulate the value proposition of ControlUp's offerings. Your experience includes working with large enterprise customers and navigating complex sales cycles, which has equipped you with the insights needed to manage global teams effectively. You understand the nuances of digital employee experience (DEX), end-user computing (EUC), and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and you are familiar with the challenges faced by IT operations in modern workplaces. You are a strategic thinker who can operate at a high level while remaining close enough to the field to provide hands-on coaching and support.

Desirable

You have prior experience managing global teams and scaling a Sales Engineering organization, which has prepared you to tackle the challenges of this role. Your background in enterprise IT operations environments gives you a unique perspective on the needs of IT teams and how to best support them. You are familiar with the latest trends in DEX and monitoring, and you are eager to leverage this knowledge to drive success for your team and the company.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership to align strategies and drive execution. While you will not be involved in day-to-day technical execution, your strong technical foundation will enable you to guide your team effectively and ensure they are prepared to engage with customers at a high level.

You will be responsible for fostering a culture of performance and accountability within your team, setting clear expectations and providing the necessary resources for success. Your leadership will help to create a cohesive and motivated team that is focused on achieving their goals and delivering value to customers. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing best practices for technical storytelling and customer engagement, ensuring that your team is well-prepared to articulate the benefits of ControlUp's solutions.
