Cortex is hiring a Director of Product Marketing to craft positioning and messaging for their AI-powered Internal Developer Portal. You'll work closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive product launches and support customer acquisition. This role requires strong strategic thinking and communication skills.

You have a proven track record in product marketing, ideally with experience in technology or software products. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value is one of your key strengths. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align product messaging with market needs. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with engineering leaders and sales teams alike. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform your strategies and decisions. You are passionate about helping engineering teams improve their software delivery processes and understand the importance of reliability in software development.
Desirable
Experience in AI or developer tools is a plus, as is familiarity with the software development lifecycle. You may have a background in engineering or a related field, which helps you understand the technical aspects of the products you market. A strong network within the tech industry can also be beneficial as you drive product awareness and adoption.
What you'll do
As the Director of Product Marketing at Cortex, you will own the messaging and positioning of our AI-powered Internal Developer Portal. You will lead the development of marketing strategies that resonate with engineering leaders, ensuring that our product's unique value proposition is clearly communicated. You will collaborate with the product team to drive successful product launches, creating the necessary collateral and training materials for the sales team. Your role will involve conducting market research to understand customer needs and competitive positioning, allowing you to refine our marketing approach continuously.
