Job Description
Who you are
You are a strategic and inspiring leader with a strong background in product marketing, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You thrive at the intersection of storytelling, systems thinking, and strategy, and you have a proven track record of shaping go-to-market strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Your ability to translate complex product capabilities into compelling narratives is key to your success. You are comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Data Science teams, and you have experience working closely with senior leadership to inform company strategy through market and customer insights.
Desirable
Experience in the finance or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise customer adoption strategies. You have a knack for crafting messages that are consistent, differentiated, and grounded in customer truth. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage market insights effectively, and you are adept at building scalable programs that connect these insights to product decisions.
What you'll do
In this pivotal role, you will define and execute Affirm’s enterprise and merchant product marketing strategy across payments, commerce, and retail products. You will lead the development of positioning and messaging that aligns with Affirm’s overall strategy and resonates with key audiences, including merchants, partners, consumers, and investors. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Sales leaders to ensure that the go-to-market strategies are effectively implemented and that the messaging is clear and impactful.
You will play a critical role in connecting product strategy to business impact, ensuring that Affirm’s offerings are presented in a way that drives understanding, adoption, and growth. You will also be responsible for monitoring market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine and improve the marketing strategy. Your insights will inform product development and help shape the future direction of Affirm’s offerings.
