What you'll do
As a Principal Sales Engineer at Cortex, you will establish and nurture relationships with engineering, SRE, DevX, and security teams, acting as their trusted technical resource. You will collaborate closely with account executives to technically scope opportunities and partner on pre-sales engagements, ensuring that customer needs are met with tailored solutions. Your role will involve understanding and addressing service architecture hurdles, providing insights that help shape product development and customer satisfaction.
You will participate in technical discussions with potential customers, demonstrating how Cortex can streamline their development processes and improve service quality. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding customers through the pre-sales cycle, helping them understand the benefits of adopting Cortex's solutions. You will also contribute to the overall product direction by providing feedback from customer interactions and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance product features.
