You are detail-oriented and have a deep understanding of food safety regulations, data privacy, and labor standards, which are critical in the food delivery industry.

What you'll do

In your role as the Director of Compliance, you will oversee the end-to-end compliance strategy for Coupang Eats in South Korea and Japan. This includes developing a comprehensive compliance framework that addresses food safety, platform regulations, and operational compliance. You will lead initiatives to identify and mitigate risks across the Eats value chain, ensuring that all operations adhere to local regulations and industry standards.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, legal, and risk management, to ensure that compliance is a priority in all business decisions. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing a culture of compliance within the organization, where all employees understand their role in maintaining high standards of safety and integrity.

Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes and adapting the compliance strategy accordingly. You will conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and will report findings to senior management. Your expertise will help Coupang Eats maintain its reputation as a trusted leader in the food delivery market.
