Who you are
You are an early-career construction professional eager to develop your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You have a generalist approach, ready to work across both base building and tenant improvement scopes, gaining experience across the full lifecycle of construction and infrastructure deployment. You possess strong organizational skills and are comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that projects stay on track and within budget.
You have a proactive mindset, ready to assist in managing daily activities across active construction sites, including scheduling, site coordination, documentation, and vendor oversight. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners will be key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and can monitor construction progress, helping to identify risks, delays, or quality concerns, and escalating issues to project leadership as needed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will assist senior Construction Managers with project tracking, contractor communications, RFI logs, and submittal reviews. You will participate in site walks, inspections, and punch-list generation, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are documented and communicated effectively. Your responsibilities will include supporting budgeting and resource allocation for projects, helping to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
You will interface with various internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and operations, as well as external partners such as general contractors, vendors, and consultants. Your role will be crucial in facilitating communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the construction process. You will gain valuable insights into the construction industry and develop your skills in project management, site coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
