Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and operating systems at scale in a production environment. Your background includes system programming with C, C++, and/or Rust, showcasing your ability to work with complex codebases and contribute to high-performance systems.

You possess extensive knowledge of Linux Systems Internals and computer architecture, allowing you to navigate and optimize system-level operations effectively. Your expertise in Network Programming equips you to tackle challenges in developing robust networking solutions that meet industry standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of Crusoe's Software Defined Networking strategy, ensuring that the engineering team is aligned with the roadmap and objectives. You will be highly hands-on, guiding the team through architecture decisions, design processes, and code reviews, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the network infrastructure organization to develop industry-leading networking infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include leading Linux Kernel and driver development, system architecture design, and providing production support.

You will also engage in cross-functional collaboration, working with various teams to ensure that the networking solutions you develop are scalable, efficient, and sustainable. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and performance improvements within the organization.
