Who you are
You have a robust background in Technical Project Management, particularly in the context of mechanical engineering or MEP engineering. Your experience includes leading teams and managing complex projects, ensuring that all technical aspects are aligned with client expectations and industry standards. You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret complex data and make informed decisions regarding project feasibility and design requirements.
You are adept at interfacing with various stakeholders, including clients, design teams, and construction teams. Your communication skills enable you to translate technical jargon into understandable terms for non-technical partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring project success. You have a keen eye for detail, which helps you review large-campus design packages and optimize designs effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of external design engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver large campus data center projects. You will create high-level calculations for mechanical systems and prepare conceptual level systems design for mechanical cooling. Your responsibilities will include reviewing information from GIS, FEMA, and topographic studies to determine site feasibility for large-scale development projects.
You will also review and interpret CFD (computational fluid dynamics) reports, determining corrective actions as necessary. Your ability to interpret client design standards will be crucial as you translate these into design requirements for external design partners. You will be responsible for optimizing designs and ensuring that all technical aspects of the projects are executed to the highest standards.
