Job Description
Who you are
You have 2-3 years of direct sales experience, ideally in the software industry, where you've developed a strong understanding of the data platform and cloud ecosystems. Your experience includes selling SaaS and demonstrating business value to clients, which has equipped you with the skills to grow consumption and close deals effectively.
You are competent in prospecting research and have the ability to map out key stakeholders within your accounts. Your passion for understanding products in-depth allows you to communicate their value clearly to customers and partners, ensuring that you can guide deals forward and compress decision cycles.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Databricks, you will own a focused territory of approximately 10 spending accounts in the commercial space, with significant upside potential. You will assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy to drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in existing accounts. Your goal will be to exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets while tracking all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce.
You will identify new use case opportunities and showcase the value of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to existing customers, ensuring 100% satisfaction among all clients. Your role will involve promoting the platform's capabilities and driving engagement with your accounts to foster long-term relationships and growth.
