Databricks is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive growth in the Manufacturing vertical. You'll focus on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts while building strategic relationships. This role requires 5+ years of experience in sales within the manufacturing domain.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in sales, particularly within the manufacturing vertical, and you understand how to navigate complex decision-making processes to close deals effectively. Your ability to communicate the value of a product is exceptional, and you thrive on prospecting for new opportunities while nurturing existing accounts. You are skilled at establishing relationships with C-Level executives, including roles in Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science, who can advocate for your solutions within their organizations.
You possess a deep understanding of customer business needs and can articulate how Databricks can meet those needs effectively. Your strategic mindset allows you to create targeted acquisition strategies that align with the company's goals. You are a leader who can guide technical teams and important staff in maximizing the impact of Databricks usage for your customers.
Desirable
Experience in selling multi-million dollar solutions and a proven track record of securing new logos in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous. Familiarity with data use cases and buying centers will enhance your ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and growing strategic accounts within the manufacturing vertical. You will develop and execute a focused logo acquisition strategy, ensuring that you secure new customers while expanding the use of Databricks in existing accounts. Your role will involve building essential relationships with key stakeholders and orchestrating efforts across Databricks teams and ecosystem partners to maximize your sales impact.
You will document and plan the growth of Databricks usage for your customers, providing leadership and guidance throughout the engagement process.
