You have extensive experience in broadcast engineering, particularly in maintaining and configuring audio and video production equipment for live events. Your expertise in designing and building robust AV and broadcast systems is complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You understand the importance of ensuring that production technologies are interconnected and globally available to support business needs.

You excel in creating scalable and secure systems that meet both short and long-term business objectives. Your strong communication skills allow you to build positive relationships with business partners, understanding their goals and workflows to deliver high-quality solutions. You are proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency in media production.

What you'll do

As a Staff Broadcast Engineer at Databricks, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology within the Event, Training, and Studio spaces. You will also be responsible for setting up remote locations for live events, ensuring that all production equipment is ready and functioning optimally. Your role will involve partnering closely with various organizations within Databricks to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.

You will oversee the health of audio and video technologies, ensuring they are configured to support live events and video production projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Media Productions team to enhance the overall productivity of employees by enabling rich and meaningful connections through technology. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of systems and processes to support the evolving needs of the business.
