Overview

Stripe is hiring a Broadcast Engineer to manage and execute live corporate events and broadcasts. You'll work with cloud-based applications and event production technologies in San Francisco. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in broadcast or event production.

Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 3 years of experience working in Broadcast, AV, or Event Production — you understand the complexities of live event production and streaming technology as it relates to corporate events. Your strong verbal and written communication skills allow you to effectively support team members and stakeholders during live broadcasts. You possess excellent organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple events and ensure high-quality production standards.

You have a working knowledge of cloud-based applications as they relate to events, which enhances your ability to deliver seamless hybrid experiences. Certifications such as CTS or industry-specific training demonstrate your commitment to professional development in this field. You may also hold Dante levels 1–3 certification or NewTek training, showcasing your technical expertise in audio and video production.

What you'll do

As a Broadcast Engineer at Stripe, you will be responsible for operating internal company broadcasts, including company-wide All Hands meetings, customer-facing events, and informal Fireside chats. You will act as the Technical Director, leading the execution of live broadcasts and ensuring that all technical aspects are handled with precision. Your role will involve collaborating closely with team members to fulfill event operators for global hybrid events, whether onsite or remote.

You will consistently raise the bar of production workflows, providing pre and post-production services to enhance the quality of broadcasts. Your expertise in incorporating cutting-edge technologies into the in-office production stack will be crucial in delivering best-in-class hybrid events. You will work with a specialized team dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality and service, leveraging industry-standard technology and best practices.
