Who you are
You have extensive experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a strong focus on security and governance β you've successfully led teams in building and operating enterprise-wide identity systems that are secure, scalable, and user-friendly. Your strategic mindset allows you to define long-term IAM strategies and roadmaps that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
You possess a deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and have implemented them in previous roles β your expertise in authentication, authorization, and access governance ensures that identity systems are reliable and secure by default. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with engineering, security, IT, compliance, and product teams to deliver effective identity services.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define the long-term IAM strategy and operating model across the enterprise and product ecosystem β you will lead the teams responsible for building and operating IAM capabilities that support employees, customers, and platform services at a global scale. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that IAM becomes a foundational pillar of Databricks' security posture and customer trust.
You will oversee the architecture and execution of IAM capabilities, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards β your role will involve continuous improvement of identity systems to enhance security and user experience. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
