Who you are

You have a proven track record in customer success management, demonstrating your ability to drive customer satisfaction and engagement. With experience in orchestrating customer engagements, you understand how to position and manage the delivery of professional services effectively. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Product Teams to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify opportunities for new services and articulate the business value of upselling or extending services to clients.

You are passionate about customer success and are committed to putting customers first in all your endeavors. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients is key to your success in this role. You are adept at understanding customer needs and defining success metrics that align with their business objectives. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all engagements are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or software company is a plus, as is familiarity with data analytics or machine learning concepts. You may also have a background in sales or account management, which enhances your ability to engage with clients and understand their business challenges. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in continuous improvement will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As an Engagement Manager at Databricks, you will be responsible for ensuring customer success throughout the customer success and services life-cycle. You will lead engagements from the initial sales process through to successful delivery and follow-up, ensuring that customers derive maximum value from our products and services. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and drive engagement.

You will work closely with sales counterparts to understand customer needs and define success metrics that align with their business goals. By identifying opportunities for new services, you will help position Databricks as a trusted partner in their success. Your ability to articulate relevant customer success stories and service offerings will be crucial in demonstrating the value we provide to our clients.

In this role, you will have full accountability for meeting and exceeding Professional Services and Training bookings and revenue targets. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of professional services and training engagements, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively. Your strategic mindset will enable you to identify potential upsell opportunities and develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer.
