Your expertise spans two or more critical areas such as Cryptography and Kubernetes Security, showcasing your ability to tackle complex security challenges. You are a strategic thinker, capable of creating a vision and defining the strategy for security engineering within an organization. Your strong communication skills enable you to represent the security engineering discipline effectively across various teams and at industry conferences.

You are passionate about making data safer for customers, identifying key gaps in infrastructure and services, and implementing solutions that enhance security. You thrive in collaborative environments, attracting top talent and fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead initiatives to enhance the security of Databricks' data analytics and machine learning platform. You will identify and address vulnerabilities in the infrastructure, ensuring that customer data is safeguarded against bad actors. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the security strategy and driving the implementation of best practices across engineering teams. You will also represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences, sharing insights and advancements in security engineering.
