You have 2+ years of full-time experience in an industry research lab or equivalent academic experience β you've produced novel research related to AI and deep learning, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the field. Your background includes a strong understanding of the latest developments in deep learning, and you are passionate about advancing the scientific frontier. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside a diverse team of researchers to tackle complex challenges. You are customer-focused, ensuring that your scientific expertise translates into impactful products that help customers succeed in applying state-of-the-art AI systems.
What you'll do
As a Research Scientist on the Mosaic AI Team at Databricks, you will be responsible for keeping up with the latest developments in deep learning and creating new techniques that go beyond the state of the art. You will collaborate with a team of researchers to develop AI models and systems using customer data, focusing on technologies ranging from pre-training LLMs to augmented generation techniques. Your role will involve encoding scientific expertise into products, ensuring that they meet customer needs and drive success. You will also engage in producing novel science and putting it into production, contributing to the overall mission of enabling data teams to solve the worldβs toughest problems.
