Databricks is seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead the Strategic Accounts team in the Netherlands. You'll define and execute the go-to-market strategy for key customers, driving growth and building executive partnerships. This role requires extensive experience in enterprise sales leadership.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales leadership, with at least 5 years of experience managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth. Your ability to build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-level executives is second to none, and you understand the nuances of the Benelux market. You are a strategic thinker who can define and execute a go-to-market strategy that aligns with the company's vision and objectives. You thrive in high-impact roles where you can influence the direction of the sales organization and drive transformation through data and AI.

You possess strong coaching and mentoring skills, enabling you to lead a team of Global and Strategic Account Executives effectively. You are adept at establishing operational rigor, ensuring pipeline discipline, and maintaining forecasting accuracy. Your experience in identifying market trends and competitive shifts allows you to create strategic partnerships that deliver value to both the company and its customers. You are committed to driving sales excellence through best practices and a focus on value delivery.

Desirable

Experience in the data and AI industry is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest sales methodologies and technologies. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a history of exceeding consumption targets. Your leadership style fosters a culture of high performance and accountability, encouraging your team to reach their full potential.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Strategic Accounts team in the Netherlands, owning the go-to-market strategy for our most valuable customers in the Benelux region. You will set the commercial direction for the team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and developing a high-performing sales organization, driving growth through deepening executive partnerships, and securing long-term expansion across top accounts. You will establish operational rigor through effective forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring that the team meets and exceeds annual consumption targets.

You will build trusted relationships with C-level executives within top enterprise customers, creating strategic partnerships that drive mutual success. Your insights into market trends and competitive shifts will inform your approach to account growth, allowing you to identify and leverage key opportunities. You will champion field execution standards and best practices around messaging and sales methodology, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional value to customers.
