You are skilled in using tools like Bazel for building and testing software, and you understand the intricacies of managing large-scale data workloads. Your experience with Big Data technologies equips you to handle petabytes of data efficiently.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail ensure that you can navigate the complexities of infrastructure development.

Desirable

Experience with multi-cloud systems is a plus, as it allows you to architect solutions that are flexible and scalable across different platforms. Familiarity with network security and encryption practices will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for building and extending the core Databricks infrastructure. This includes architecting multi-cloud systems that support the Databricks platform and enable it to run efficiently on existing cloud services.

You will work on managing thousands of Kubernetes clusters at scale, ensuring that the infrastructure is robust and can handle high volumes of data processing. Your role will involve developing highly scalable and distributed API gateways, implementing rate limiting frameworks, and enhancing network security measures.

You will also contribute to the development of developer tools and infrastructure, utilizing your expertise in CI/CD frameworks to streamline deployment processes. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of the Databricks platform, making it the go-to solution for Big Data and AI workloads.
