Who you are

You are a recent graduate, set to complete your degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field between fall 2025 and summer 2026. You possess implementation skills in a general-purpose programming language, such as Java or Python, and are eager to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited about the opportunity to work with a team of engineers to tackle complex challenges.

You have a strong foundation in software development principles and are keen to learn about the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and production operations. You are motivated to contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact on the world, particularly in the realm of data and AI infrastructure.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineering New Grad at Databricks, you will join a cohort of engineers and work closely with your team to build features and improve the architecture of the Databricks platform. You will be involved in developing and extending the Databricks product, ensuring that it meets the high standards of reliability, scalability, and security that our customers expect.

You will own various aspects of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through to deployment and monitoring in production.
