Who you are

You have extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, particularly in the financial services sector, and are adept at addressing big data challenges. Your background includes working with the Databricks platform, where you've successfully integrated client systems and provided exceptional customer service. You are skilled in data engineering and data science, with a strong understanding of cloud technologies. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and technical teams ensures that projects are completed to specification and meet customer needs.

You have a proven track record of designing and building reference architectures and productionalizing customer use cases. Your experience includes guiding strategic customers through transformational big data projects and 3rd party migrations, demonstrating your expertise in end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading big data and AI applications. You are comfortable providing escalated support for customer operational issues and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Desirable

Experience with additional cloud platforms and big data tools is a plus, as is familiarity with machine learning applications. You thrive in environments where you can mentor others and share your knowledge of best practices in data architecture and engineering.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with clients on short to medium-term engagements, helping them navigate their big data challenges using the Databricks platform. You will be responsible for scoping professional services work in collaboration with engagement managers and providing hands-on support for customer projects. Your role will involve consulting on architecture and design, ensuring that clients understand and adopt Databricks effectively.

You will lead the design and implementation of impactful customer technical projects, which may include creating how-to guides and reference architectures. Your work will directly contribute to the success of clients as they implement big data solutions, and you will be instrumental in helping them realize the full value of their data.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work alongside the Databricks technical team, project managers, and customer teams to deliver technical components that meet customer needs. You will also provide training and support to clients, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the Databricks platform effectively.
