Who you are

You have a strong background in big data technologies and have spent several years working as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role. Your experience includes engaging with clients to understand their data challenges and providing tailored solutions that leverage the Databricks platform. You excel in data engineering and data science, and you have a solid understanding of cloud technologies. You are adept at integrating with client systems and providing training to ensure customers maximize the value of their data. Your excellent customer service skills enable you to manage projects effectively and deliver results that meet client expectations.

You are familiar with designing and building reference architectures and have experience in productionalizing customer use cases. You understand the importance of collaboration and work closely with engagement managers to scope professional services work based on customer input. Your ability to guide strategic customers through transformational big data projects is a key strength, and you are comfortable consulting on architecture and design. You are proactive in providing escalated support for customer operational issues, ensuring that technical components of engagements are delivered to meet customer needs.

Desirable

Experience with third-party migrations and end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications is a plus. Familiarity with industry-leading big data tools and frameworks will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. What you'll do

As a Senior Resident Solutions Architect at Databricks, you will work on a variety of impactful customer technical projects. Your responsibilities will include designing and building reference architectures that align with customer needs and creating how-to guides to facilitate the adoption of Databricks solutions. You will collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work, ensuring that projects are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each client.

You will guide strategic customers as they implement transformational big data projects, providing expertise in third-party migrations and the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of big data and AI applications. Your role will involve consulting on architecture and design, as well as bootstrapping or implementing customer projects to ensure their successful understanding and evaluation of Databricks.

In addition to project work, you will provide an escalated level of support for customer operational issues, working closely with the Databricks technical team, project managers, and customer teams to ensure that all technical components of engagements are delivered effectively. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in helping customers achieve their goals.
