Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud platforms and data engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in data analytics and machine learning. You are comfortable in customer-facing roles and have a proven track record of consulting on big data architecture. Your expertise in open-source projects such as Apache Spark, MLflow, and Delta Lake sets you apart as a trusted advisor to clients. You excel at building relationships and finding champions within organizations, ensuring successful implementation of solutions. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with sales and product teams to identify use cases and develop effective architectures.
Desirable
Experience with federal civilian projects is a plus, as is familiarity with various cloud services and third-party applications. You are passionate about promoting open-source technologies and have experience presenting at meetups or conferences.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems. You will provide technical leadership, guiding customers through the evaluation and adoption of Databricks solutions. Your responsibilities will include consulting on big data architecture, implementing proof of concepts for strategic projects, and validating integrations with cloud services. You will build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications tailored to customer needs. Additionally, you will travel to customer sites to provide hands-on support and foster strong relationships.
