Who you are

You have a strong background in technical solutions architecture, ideally with experience in the public sector. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is one of your key strengths. You are comfortable with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have a solid understanding of data processing frameworks like Apache Spark. Experience with data analytics and machine learning concepts is a plus. Familiarity with the Databricks platform or similar data solutions will set you apart. You are passionate about helping customers maximize their return on investment and are committed to their success.

What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the post-sale technical lead for Databricks products, guiding customers through their implementation and usage of the platform. You will work closely with sales and field engineering teams to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical workshops, providing best practices, and ensuring that customers are leveraging the full capabilities of the Databricks platform. You will also be responsible for creating tailored plans that address the unique needs of each customer, helping them to achieve their data goals effectively.

You will engage with various stakeholders within customer organizations, from technical teams to executive leadership, ensuring that everyone is aligned on objectives and outcomes. Your role will require you to travel up to 30% of the time, primarily within the D.C. metro area, to meet with customers and provide on-site support as needed. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and customer engagement strategies, sharing insights and feedback with your team to enhance overall service delivery.
