You have a strong background in data warehousing technologies and modern data platform architectures — your expertise allows you to guide customers effectively in their data architecture decisions. You excel in creating and articulating compelling value propositions, ensuring that customers understand how to leverage Databricks to solve their business problems. Your experience includes working directly with senior executives, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing their strategic decisions. You are comfortable in a technical sales environment and have a knack for enabling teams to understand product differentiators against competitors.
You possess in-depth technical knowledge of both traditional and modern data warehousing techniques — this knowledge is crucial as you partner with Product Managers to define product direction based on local insights. You are a thought leader who enjoys sharing your expertise through speaking engagements at conferences and webinars, as well as writing insightful blog posts. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to support field engineering teams internally, helping them to scale their impact.
Desirable
Experience in the Asia Pacific and Japan markets is a plus, as is familiarity with industry domain knowledge relevant to data warehousing. You are proactive in gathering customer feedback and using it to inform product strategy, ensuring that the solutions offered meet market needs effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and drive the technical go-to-market strategy for Databricks in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. You will work directly with customers, guiding them in their data warehousing architecture and decisions, ensuring they are successful in leveraging Databricks.
