Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of closing experience, particularly in field selling within mid-market and enterprise environments. You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding direct sales goals of $1M+ and are comfortable operating with an average deal size of $100k+. Your experience includes working for innovative tech companies, preferably in SaaS or IT infrastructure, and you have a strong understanding of the sales process in large enterprise companies in Indonesia.

You are driven and possess a deep comprehension of customer business needs, allowing you to uncover pain points effectively. You have a methodology for prospecting and building a pipeline independently, demonstrating resourcefulness when faced with challenges that require creative solutions. Your ability to negotiate favorable pricing and business terms is complemented by your focus on delivering value and ROI to clients.

You maintain and build specific relationship maps for your territory, ensuring you have a clear understanding of existing relationships and aspirational contacts. You are skilled at handling existing customer expectations while expanding your reach and depth within your assigned territory. Your intuitive sense of the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation sets you apart in this competitive field.

Desirable

Experience in selling into large enterprise companies in Indonesia is highly valued. Familiarity with cloud environments and the ability to articulate the benefits of Datadog’s solutions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will target and close new business with Datadog’s largest and most strategic customers and prospects. You will focus on uncovering the pain points organizations face as they operate in or migrate to a cloud environment at scale. Your responsibilities will include running an efficient sales process with a focus on acquiring new logos and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

You will develop a deep understanding of your customers' businesses, allowing you to tailor solutions that meet their specific needs. Negotiating favorable pricing and business terms will be a key part of your role, as you sell the value and ROI of Datadog’s offerings. You will also ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency, which is critical for maintaining trust with your clients and your team.

Your role will require you to demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solutions. You will identify a robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities, ensuring that you are well-prepared to address customer needs and close deals effectively. You will also be responsible for expanding your reach and depth into your assigned territory, ensuring that you maximize the potential of your accounts.
