Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of closing experience, particularly in field selling within mid-market and enterprise environments. You are driven and have consistently met or exceeded direct sales goals of $1M+, managing an average deal size of $100k+. Your ability to prospect effectively and build relationships is key to your success. You possess a deep understanding of customer business needs and can navigate complex sales processes with ease. You are resourceful and have an intuitive sense of the necessary steps to close business and gain customer validation. Your experience includes negotiating favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises, showcasing your ability to sell value and ROI.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process. You will maintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory, including existing relationships and aspirational contacts. Developing a deep comprehension of your customer's business will be essential as you identify robust business drivers behind all opportunities. You will ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency, handling existing customer expectations while expanding your reach and depth into the assigned territory. Your role will involve demonstrating resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solutions, and you will be responsible for negotiating favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises. You will also be expected to maintain a strong focus on uncovering the pain points organizations face as they operate in or migrate to a cloud environment at scale, delivering the appropriate Datadog solution.
