Who you are
You are a proven leader with the ability to manage team dynamics, set goals, provide feedback, and foster a positive and productive work environment. You have experience building distributed systems and operating infrastructure with a focus on reliability and fault tolerance. You possess a product mindset and have comfort working with product managers and customers to scope out roadmaps and development plans. Experience doing this with new products is great to have, as it will help you navigate the complexities of product development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of engineers, driving their professional growth while collaborating with Product to shape the strategic roadmap. You will engage strategically with complex technical problems and work with your team to produce well-defined and actionable plans. As a core contributor and reviewer of code, you will lead design decisions and participate in the on-call rotation, ensuring that the Kubernetes Autoscaling product meets high standards of performance and reliability.
