What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Application Security Platform, you will lead a team of security engineers, guiding them in the development and implementation of security policies and practices. You will define application security standards that proactively address existing and emerging threats, ensuring that the Datadog stack remains secure. Your role will involve designing and building secure solutions that enable teams to adopt security controls seamlessly, promoting a secure-by-default approach in all development processes.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security considerations are embedded in every stage of product development. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's efforts to continuously improve the application security posture of Datadog, protecting both the company and its customers from potential security risks.

In this role, you will also be responsible for managing team dynamics, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating professional development opportunities for your team members.
