What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for Cloud SIEM Threat Hunting, you will lead a team of 3-5 engineers, guiding them in the development of a co-pilot experience designed for advanced security teams. You will collaborate closely with other Cloud SIEM and Security product teams to ensure the success of the product. Your role will involve spending approximately half your time on management tasks, such as conducting one-on-ones, performance reviews, and team-building activities, while the other half will be dedicated to hands-on technical work.

You will be responsible for setting the technical direction of your team, ensuring that engineering practices align with Datadog's standards. You will work on developing AI agents that proactively hunt for threats and create detection rules to enhance customer security. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment where engineers can thrive and innovate.

You will also engage with Product and Design Managers to ensure that the Cloud SIEM product meets user needs and expectations. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving the product's success. You will monitor industry trends and advancements in cloud security to keep your team informed and competitive.
