Who you are
You have a proven track record of managing high-performing Enterprise Sales teams, particularly in the B2B technology sector. Your experience includes developing strategies that drive new business and expansion bookings, especially within the Public Sector. You understand the nuances of the sales cycle and can coach your team on building executive relationships with named enterprise accounts. You are adept at analyzing productivity metrics such as deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy, and you know how to guide your team through complex negotiations.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and value the importance of office culture. You believe that strong relationships and teamwork lead to creativity and success. You are comfortable operating in a hybrid workplace and understand the importance of work-life harmony for your team. Experience in the Public Sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities that come with selling to government entities. You have a strong understanding of how to work collaboratively with marketing, product, and success teams to create targeted messaging and collateral that resonates with your audience.
What you'll do
As the Director of Enterprise Sales, you will manage, hire, train, and ramp a team of Enterprise Sales Executives focused on the Public Sector in Japan. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve annual enterprise bookings quotas through effective leadership and strategic direction. You will conduct weekly forecast meetings to ensure your team is on track to meet their goals and provide guidance on how to navigate the sales cycle proactively.
You will coach your sales executives on building strong relationships with named enterprise accounts and leading them through complex deals. Your role will involve shaping the direction of the go-to-market strategy for your region, ensuring that your team has the resources and support they need to succeed. You will also engage in client and prospect meetings, leveraging your expertise to support your direct reports in closing deals.
