Who you are

You have experience in hunting and closing net new logos — you've successfully engaged with mid-to-large size organizations and understand the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You are skilled in collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify customer needs and convey the value of technology solutions effectively.

You thrive in a hybrid workplace — you appreciate the balance between in-office collaboration and the flexibility of remote work. You understand the importance of building relationships and fostering a positive office culture that encourages creativity and teamwork.

You are familiar with tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg — you leverage these resources to strategically prospect into key decision-makers like Chief Technology Officers and Engineering/IT Leaders. Your ability to multi-thread into different departments of complex organizations sets you apart.

You are passionate about technology and eager to grow your sales experience — you understand that not every qualification needs to be met on day one, and you are open to learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As a Mid Market Account Executive at Datadog, you will focus entirely on net-new logo acquisition — your primary responsibility will be converting inbound leads into closed opportunities. You will manage the full sales cycle, including negotiations and on-site technical demonstrations, ensuring that you meet the unique needs of each customer.

You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives to drive top-of-funnel activity — your teamwork will be essential in identifying and nurturing leads that align with Datadog's offerings. You will strategically engage with potential clients, understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Datadog's solutions can address their needs.

You will leverage your sales expertise to navigate complex organizations — by multi-threading into various departments, you will build relationships that facilitate successful sales outcomes. Your role will also involve continuous learning and adapting to the evolving landscape of technology sales.
