Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales within a cloud services or software as a service organization β you've successfully driven sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, effectively negotiating and managing relationships with key partners. Your proven track record in channel sales demonstrates your ability to identify and recruit new strategic partners, enabling long-term success for both the partners and the company.
You thrive in collaborative environments and understand the importance of nurturing partnerships β you have experience coordinating technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working towards common goals. Your strong communication skills allow you to host quarterly business reviews with partners, driving accountability and reporting on success metrics.
What you'll do
As a Partner Manager at Datadog, you will identify and recruit new strategic cloud service providers, managed service providers, and system integrators to drive revenue growth. You will enable and activate existing partners through comprehensive training and joint selling initiatives, ensuring they are equipped to succeed in promoting Datadog's solutions. You will work closely with Datadogβs regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations to generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue.
You will coordinate the technical and marketing aspects of partnership launches, ensuring that all partners are well-prepared and supported throughout the process. Your role will involve hosting quarterly business reviews with partners to assess performance, drive accountability, and report on success metrics. You will also collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and maximize the impact of partnerships on overall business growth.
