Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales, particularly within a cloud services or software as a service organization. Your proven track record in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure showcases your ability to nurture partnerships effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment and understand the importance of building long-term relationships with key strategic partners, including managed services providers and resellers.
Your expertise lies in identifying and recruiting new partners, enabling existing ones through training and joint selling, and coordinating the technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches. You are comfortable hosting quarterly business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics. Your strong communication skills allow you to work hand-in-hand with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations, ensuring alignment and shared goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will identify and recruit new strategic partners to drive revenue growth, focusing on cloud service providers and managed service providers. You will enable and activate existing partners through comprehensive training and joint selling initiatives, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed. Coordinating the technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches will be a key responsibility, as will hosting quarterly business reviews with partners to assess performance and drive accountability.
You will collaborate closely with Datadog’s sales teams to generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue, playing a crucial role in the company’s growth strategy. Your ability to foster strong relationships and maintain ongoing communication with partners will be essential in achieving long-term success. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve partnership strategies and outcomes.
