Who you are
You have experience as a Sales Engineer, ideally with a background in DevOps monitoring or architecture tools. You are comfortable delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to external customers, showcasing your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with sales teams to articulate the value proposition of products. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart. You are eager to learn new technologies and continuously build your competitive knowledge and technical skills. You understand the importance of customer feedback and are willing to advocate for their needs within the product team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with the sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. You will deliver product and technical presentations to potential clients, helping them understand how Datadog can meet their needs. You will assist clients during the onboarding process and provide support when they encounter challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to resolve customer concerns and escalate bug issues as necessary. You will also have a direct line of communication with the product team, allowing you to contribute to feature requests based on customer input. Your creativity will be essential as you think through a variety of technical challenges during the pre-sales lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in qualifying and closing opportunities with customers and partners, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to successful implementation.
