You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in DevOps monitoring or architecture tools. You are comfortable and confident in delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to external customers, showcasing your ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Your experience allows you to effectively qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners, ensuring their needs are met with the right solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with various teams to resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary. You are passionate about technology and continuously seek to learn new tools and methodologies to enhance your technical skills and credibility in the field.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Sales Engineer at Datadog, you will partner with the sales team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision, and strategy of Datadog's offerings to customers. You will deliver compelling product and technical presentations to potential clients, helping them understand how Datadog can meet their needs. Your role will involve providing technical expertise during the sales process, assisting with product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations such as proof of concepts (POCs). You will have a direct line of communication with the product team, allowing you to collaborate on feature requests based on customer feedback. Additionally, you will help clients onboard the product and assist them when they encounter roadblocks, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience with Datadog's solutions. Your creativity will be essential as you think through a variety of technical challenges during the pre-sales lifecycle, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
