Who you are
You have experience as a Sales Engineer, ideally with a background in DevOps monitoring or architecture tools. You are comfortable and confident in delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to external customers, showcasing your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value proposition of Datadog effectively. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with various teams to resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary. Your ability to think creatively about technical challenges during the pre-sales lifecycle sets you apart. You are fluent in Spanish or Portuguese, which enhances your ability to connect with a diverse customer base.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with the sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers. You will continually learn new technologies to build competitive knowledge and technical skills, ensuring you remain credible in your presentations. Delivering product and technical presentations to potential clients will be a key responsibility, where you will demonstrate how Datadog can meet their needs. You will have a direct line of communication with the product team, collaborating on feature requests based on customer feedback. Assisting clients during onboarding and helping them navigate any roadblocks will be part of your daily tasks. You will also serve as an ambassador for the Datadog brand, ensuring that customer experiences are positive and impactful.
