Who you are
You have at least 4 years of overall experience in roles related to sales operations, finance, sales strategy, or sales enablement. Your background includes at least 2 years of experience specifically focused on deal structuring and quoting. You are a creative problem solver who can meet customer needs while adhering to company policies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working cross-functionally with various teams including legal, contracts, and sales operations. Your strong communication skills allow you to negotiate deals directly with customers when necessary, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with internal controls.
What you'll do
As a Deal Desk Analyst at Datadog, you will develop an in-depth knowledge of the company's licensing and pricing models to provide essential support to the global sales teams. You will actively engage in deal structuring and quoting, ensuring that all proposals meet customer requirements while aligning with Datadog's selling policies. You will function as the point of contact and subject matter expert for sales on deal pricing matters, driving adherence to internal controls and business rules. Your role will involve solving customer satisfaction issues that arise following the execution of deals, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholder groups, including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management, to facilitate effective deal execution and support the growth of Datadog's business.
