You have at least 4 years of overall experience in roles related to sales operations, finance, sales strategy, or sales enablement. You possess a strong understanding of deal structuring and quoting, with at least 2 years of direct experience in this area. You are a creative problem solver who can meet customer needs while adhering to company policies. Your ability to negotiate deals directly with customers is a key strength, and you thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with legal, contracts, sales operations, and finance teams. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for driving adherence to internal controls and business rules. You value office culture and collaboration, contributing positively to team dynamics.
What you'll do
As a Deal Desk Analyst at Datadog, you will develop in-depth knowledge of the company's licensing and pricing models to provide essential deal structuring and quoting support to the global sales teams. You will actively engage with customers to negotiate deals and resolve any satisfaction issues that arise post-execution. Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholder groups, including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management.
