You are an experienced technical curriculum developer or software developer with over five years of expertise in cloud technologies. Your background includes strong technical skills in DevOps and familiarity with platforms like GCP and Azure, which you will leverage to create high-quality training content. You have a passion for education and a knack for turning complex technical concepts into engaging learning experiences that resonate with users.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and product teams to understand customer needs and translate them into effective training programs. Your ability to mentor others in cloud engineering best practices and instructional design insights makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance existing learning materials and develop new labs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with cloud engineering and product teams to produce high-quality training courses and content for Datadog’s customer and partner curriculums. You will evaluate customer training requirements and create a roadmap with clearly scoped courses and well-defined learning paths. Your responsibilities will include developing supplemental courseware, workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars that cater to various learning styles.

You will create and maintain the technical systems and environments used in hands-on labs, utilizing platforms like Instruqt to deliver engaging learning experiences. Mentoring existing staff in cloud engineering best practices and instructional design will be a key part of your role, helping to elevate the overall quality of training at Datadog. You will also be responsible for continuously improving the curriculum based on feedback and industry trends, ensuring that our training remains relevant and effective.
