Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in IT operations, specifically managing endpoint devices across various operating systems. Your expertise includes working with mobile device management (MDM) solutions and ensuring compliance with security standards. You understand the importance of operational rigor, especially in environments that require elevated security measures.

You are proficient in using Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, to provision and maintain endpoint-related infrastructure. Your experience includes managing configurations, policies, and changes through Git-based workflows, ensuring that all processes are repeatable and auditable.

You have a strong background in managing and securing both Windows and Linux endpoints, including tasks such as configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management. Your familiarity with NIST 800-53 requirements allows you to implement and validate endpoint security baselines effectively.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys partnering with Security and Compliance teams to support audits and assessments. Your communication skills enable you to serve as a technical point of contact for endpoint topics related to Federal programs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Desirable

Experience with FedRAMP and IL5 compliance frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with endpoint security tools and practices. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and value the relationships and collaboration that come from an office culture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will operate and improve endpoint tooling and programs that support compliance with U.S. Federal frameworks. You will design, deploy, and maintain AWS Workspaces Applications environments, ensuring that they meet the needs of Datadog employees.

You will utilize Infrastructure as Code tools to provision and maintain endpoint-related infrastructure, focusing on repeatability and auditability. Your responsibilities will include managing endpoint configurations and policies through Git-based workflows, ensuring that all changes are tracked and documented.

You will be responsible for managing and securing Windows and Linux endpoints, which includes tasks such as configuration, patching, and lifecycle management. You will implement and validate endpoint security baselines aligned with NIST 800-53 requirements, ensuring that all endpoints meet the necessary security standards.

You will partner closely with Security and Compliance teams to support audits, assessments, and continuous monitoring of endpoint security. Your role will also involve serving as a technical point of contact for endpoint topics related to Federal programs, providing guidance and expertise to ensure compliance and security.
