Who you are
You are a motivated and experienced individual who thrives in fast-paced, physical environments — you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and actively engaging in day-to-day operations. You take ownership of your assigned shifts, ensuring that warehouse and kitchen processes run smoothly while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. You have a strong sense of accountability for inventory, equipment, and other company assets, ensuring they are properly handled and protected from loss or theft.
You are committed to delighting customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered with high quality — you execute orders accurately, communicate effectively with customers when issues arise, and ensure that Dasher pickups go smoothly. You possess strong leadership skills, guiding Operations Associates through their shifts and ensuring that the team works safely and productively.
What you'll do
As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for fulfilling orders in a warehouse environment and maintaining inventory. You will oversee the daily operations of the DashMart, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and effectively. You will lead your team by delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure that all associates are working towards common goals. You will also be involved in preparing food in a light-prep kitchen in some locations, ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
You will take ownership of your shifts, maintaining accountability for the quality of service provided to customers. This includes monitoring the performance of your team, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. You will also be responsible for training new team members, helping them to understand their roles and responsibilities within the DashMart.
