You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, and you understand the importance of collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. You have a strong grasp of design principles and methodologies, and you are comfortable conducting user research to inform your design decisions. You thrive in environments where you can lead design initiatives and mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Desirable

Experience in logistics or e-commerce design is a plus, as is familiarity with mobile app design. You are passionate about improving user experiences and have a keen interest in understanding user behavior through data and feedback. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to improve your designs and processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design efforts for the Shopper Experience within DoorDash's New Verticals team. You will be responsible for envisioning and creating a seamless experience for Dashers as they shop at grocery and retail stores. Your work will involve collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business goals and user needs. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that will inform your design decisions, and you will iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results. You will also be involved in defining design standards and best practices to ensure consistency across the platform. As a senior member of the design team, you will mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy of the organization.
